How did jaspice learn how to cook

As a kid I was in Jamaica and I was always observing how other people cook , in Jamaica people would cook in back yards, in kitchen, on the river, on the beach, on the streets and it was amusing to me so eventually I had to learn, the learning part was easy because of looking how my mother and grandfather was doing there thing

The first thing that I learned to cook was curry goat, curry goat wasn’t easy to cook because it’s a long process and I didn’t know , the goat wasn’t too tender but after the first time I learned that it have to be cooked for hours so the second time it was official, I had every one eating curry goat at my moms house
